As part of the professional training for judges and prosecutors, the School of Magistrates organized a training event on July 9-10, 2024, with the theme “Seminar on regulating Artificial Intelligence (AI) for judges and prosecutors from Albania.” Also invited as a lecturer at this seminar was the Information and Data Protection Commissioner, Mr. Besnik Dervishi.

Commissioner Dervishi gave a presentation on “Personal data protection, security, digitalization, and AI”, focusing on the impact on the activities of judges and prosecutors within the new national legal framework in this field, aligned with the European Union regulatory framework (GDPR). The goal of this event, coordinated with insights from foreign experts, was to expand knowledge on this phenomenon and its efficient use in compliance with norms in the services provided by the justice system.
