The Information and Data Protection Commissioner in accordance with Article 19 of Law No. 33/2022 “On Open Data and the Reuse of Public Sector Information,” is the responsible institution for protecting, overseeing, and promoting the right to reuse documents, as well as for reviewing complaints regarding non-compliance with this law.
In exercising this competence, the Commissioner’s Office monitors and supervises the implementation of the open data law by public sector bodies and public enterprises. Cooperation with these entities is one of the most important aspects of ensuring compliance with the law’s objectives.
To raise awareness among public sector bodies and public enterprises, as well as to collect data and create statistics, the Commissioner’s Office has prepared a questionnaire on the implementation of Law No. 33/2022, which you can find at the following link.
This questionnaire will be sent via email to public sector bodies and public enterprises.
Through this questionnaire, public sector bodies and public enterprises will also gain a better understanding of their obligations under Law No. 33/2022, “On Open Data and the Reuse of Public Sector Information.”
The completed questionnaire should be submitted to the Commissioner’s Office at info@idp.al
