On 16 November, the ceremony of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the School of European Integration took place, an important initiative that has contributed to strengthening the professional capacities of public administration and supporting the process of Albania’s accession to the European Union.

The Information and Data Protection Commissioner’s Office was represented by the Secretary General, Ms. Blerta Nerguti, one of the previous participants of this school. In her welcoming speech, Ms. Nerguti praised the role of the School of European Integration as a consolidated training platform, which has assisted Albanian institutions, including the Commissioner’s Office, during the screening phase and negotiations for Chapter 23.

Ms. Nerguti expressed her gratitude to the institutions and partners that have supported the development of this initiative over a decade, including the Parliament of Albania, the National Council for European Integration, the EU Delegation and the Open Society Foundation.
