The Information and Data Protection Commissioner, Besnik Dervishi, received in a meeting the new Administrator of IdentiTek JSC, Ms. Silda Çepele.

During the meeting, the importance of strengthening inter-institutional cooperation was discussed, as a necessary step to guarantee the protection of personal data and increase the trust of citizens.

The focus of the conversation was the role of IdentiTek JSC, as a state-owned company that administers and develops electronic identification systems and related digital services, processing a considerable volume of personal data. In this context, the need for full compliance with legal standards and best practices in the field of personal data protection and security was emphasized.

Commissioner Besnik Dervishi praised the commitment of IdentiTek JSC in this regard and guaranteed the support and cooperation of the institution he leads, in order to strengthen the standards of the right to information and the protection of personal data.
