The Information and Privacy Agency (IPA) of the Republic of Kosovo has been accepted with the observer status in the European Data Protection Board.
This is the main forum where counterpart authorities from EU member states and beyond, including the Information and Data Protection Commissioner’s Office, discuss the implementation of European legislation on the protection of personal data (GDPR).
For the IPA this is another important step in the process of becoming part of international organizations in the field of responsibility, with the aim of gaining advanced experiences in implementing the highest standards for guaranteeing citizens’ rights.
