As the ICIC Chair and Secretariat, the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner led the proceedings of the fifth ICIC Executive Committee meeting, being also the last session for 2025.

The meeting kicked off with an opening speech from Commissioner Besnik Dervishi, as the ICIC Chair, who thanked and acknowledged all the Executive Committee members for their invaluable contribution throughout the year.

The ICIC Secretariat introduced the Executive Committee meeting Schedule for 2026 whereas some changes were considered as proposed by the members. Moreover, an update from the Planning Committee meeting for the 2026 ICIC was provided.

It was also announced that UNESCO will be organizing the IDUAI 2026 under the same period as the ICIC annual conference.

The meeting was concluded with discussions over the finalization of the final ICIC Berlin conference report.
