Under the theme “The Right to Information – Electronic Registry of Requests and Responses (REKPDI),” the Information and Data Protection Commissioner’s Office organized an online training session with coordinators for the right to information from 25 central-level institutions.
This training aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the legal obligation to publish and regularly update the registry of requests and responses, as well as to provide practical guidance on the use of the REKPDI system via the portal pyetshtetin.al.
During the session, the Commissioner’s Office staff addressed a range of issues encountered in the handling of information requests, offering clarifications and examples drawn from best practices.
The use of the Electronic Registry of Requests and Responses is of particular importance, as it significantly facilitates and reinforces the proactive transparency of public authorities, while also contributing to the improvement of services delivered to citizens and other stakeholders.
